University of Wisconsin Professor Reveals that Gay Films Festival Could Destroy Society

I’m really frightened now. First it was the War of the Worlds. Then it was the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. Now it’s a Professor of Information Systems! Yikes!

Until now, I was totally unaware that a gay film festival could destroy society as we know it. That’s the disturbing revelation of an information systems professor at the University of Wisconsin.

It seems that when a student asked him for help in publicizing the University of Wisconsin’s first-ever gay film festival, Dr. Tom Hilton replied,

“I urge you to reconsider your plan. Homosexual behavior damages its participants, their loved ones, and the communities that sanction it,”

Dr. Hilton, who is a local bishop with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, told the school’s newspaper that “I decry attempts to legitimize their addictions and compulsions.”

Read the e-mails between the student and Dr. Hilton (they are in .pdf format)

It is so sad that our society places a stigma on the third sex. It just made me remember a passage from the Dali Lama himself which goes like this, “If you can, help others. If you can not do that, at least do not harm them.”

Lets work together to heal minds….
