As the fight continues to achieve marriage equality for all lesbian and gay couples in the United States, it is more important than ever to lend your support to those organizations that focus solely on that issue. One such group is Marriage Equality USA (MEUSA). Founded in 2001, the group’s mission is:
“To secure legally recognized civil marriage equality for all, without regard to sexual orientation or gender identity, at the state and federal level through grassroots organizing, education, action and partnerships.”
For those interested in reading or viewing more on marriage equality, MEUSA features a nice list of resources. If you are so inclined, you may make a donation to Marriage Equality USA here.
