New York Assembly Passes Freedom to Marry Bill

It has been a busy week at my law office and I have not had a moment to post since Monday, for which I humbly apologize.  A lot has happened in the LGBT community so the next few posts will be updates.

On Wednesday, June 15th, the New York Assembly passed the Freedom to Marry bill that will allow lesbian and gay couples to marry in the State of New York.  The bill must now go to the New York Senate for a vote.
