Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are!

Today is National Coming Out Day!  If you’re a lesbian, gay or transgender person and you came out today, congratulations for finding the courage to tell the world who you are.  If you were there to support someone else who came out today, thanks for lending them your strength.  If you are a straight person who celebrated this day just because you believe that all human beings should be who they are, kudos to you — and thanks for being an ally to the LGBT community.

There’s still time to show your support today with a few “apps” that you can sport on Facebook and other social media sites:

Human Rights Campaign (HRC): Coming Out for Equality Facebook app

Lambda Legal:  I’m Coming Out” badge

Whatever  you’re doing to support the cause, thank you.
