LGBT Politics Documentary Set to Be Produced

According to a press release on its website,the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Institute “has partnered with the producers of MTV and Logo’s “It Gets Better” series of specials to produce a documentary about shaping the most viable LGBT political candidates.”

Victory Fund, formed in 1991, works to assist openly LGBT candidates to local, state and federal office in the United States.  At present, there are an estimated 525 out elected officials serving in all branches of our government.

“The stories of LGBT candidates and elected officials have been at the forefront of this movement for decades, and still today out officeholders are crucial leaders in our fight for equality. We look forward to partnering with this talented team of producers and filmmakers to lift the veil on how these men and women learn to run and win,” said Chuck Wolfe, Victory’s president and CEO.
